Everything you need to know about Collabaro. Can't find the answer you're looking for? Get in touch with our team.
Collabaro is an operational control platform for managing complex, long-duration outdoor inspection, maintenance, and repair projects across the energy and renewables sectors.
It consists of two connected applications: Collabaro Desk, a web app for project managers to design tasks, manage data, and produce reports, and Collabaro Field, a mobile app for technicians to capture structured field data, including images, notes, and inspection responses, online or offline.
Together, they help organisations coordinate field and subcontractor teams, maintain compliance, control costs, and deliver client-ready reports faster and more accurately.
Collabaro is designed for organisations that manage field-based inspection, maintenance, and repair operations, particularly across the energy and renewables sectors.
Project managers use Desk to design tasks, oversee operations, and produce reports, while technicians use Field to capture structured data on site.
It is trusted by leading blade service contractors across the globe, from small specialist teams to large multi-site operations.
Collabaro Field is built to work without an internet connection. Technicians can log timesheets, complete checklists, and capture photos while offline. All data is securely stored on the device and automatically syncs to Collabaro Desk when connectivity is restored. There is no data loss and no manual intervention required.
Collabaro Desk runs in any modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on desktop or tablet. Collabaro Field is available as a native app for both iOS and Android devices. We recommend using devices with GPS capability for the full timesheet verification experience.
Most teams are up and running within one to two weeks. Our onboarding process includes account configuration, checklist setup, user training, and a dedicated support contact. We work closely with your project managers to ensure the platform is tailored to your workflows from day one.
Yes. Collabaro uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. All data is hosted on secure EU servers, and we comply with AWS Security Hub standards.
We implement role-based access controls, regular security audits, and automated backups to ensure your operational data is protected at all times.
Collabaro also supports two-factor authentication (2FA) for the web application, which clients can enforce on an individual or global basis.
Collabaro supports both PDF and Microsoft Word output formats, giving you flexibility depending on your reporting and client requirements. Reports can be generated directly in either format from within the platform. In addition, our REST API enables you to securely extract structured data in JSON format, allowing you to integrate with third-party systems or reformat content for further processing and analysis.
Yes. Collabaro provides a comprehensive REST API (the TAPI) with 14 resource domains covering projects, jobs, tasks, timesheets, reports, assets, sites, users, and more. All responses are JSON, authentication is via API key, and webhooks are available for event-driven integrations.
The API is used by clients to integrate with ERP systems, BI tools, and CRM platforms including Salesforce. See the full API & Integrations overview for details.
Yes. Collabaro has a live integration with Nordex SNOW that enables our clients to push inspection data directly into the SNOW platform. Currently this covers inspection data, with repair data integration planned for a future release.
Our REST API also supports custom integrations with other OEM systems. Visit our API & Integrations page for more details.
Collabaro is delivered as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution by default, hosted on secure EU servers. However, we can deploy an on-premise installation where there is a commercial reason to do so, for example, to meet specific data sovereignty or security requirements.

Yes. Collabaro can capture inspection and repair data from any lightning protection system (LPS) project, job, or task, regardless of how complex the scope. Our flexible checklist system adapts to any LPS inspection methodology, and all data flows through to reporting and client deliverables.
Collabaro allows clients to define their own workflows, a series of work steps and instructions, to capture and record inspection or damage data in the field. Technicians follow the structured workflow on their mobile device, and the platform automatically generates client-specific reporting from the captured data.
This applies to any blade inspection scope, including leading edge erosion, structural damage, or surface defects.
Collabaro is priced on a per-user, per-month basis with a 12-month agreement. We don't tie our clients into long-term contracts. Volume pricing applies, the more technicians you have on the platform, the lower the individual cost per user becomes.

Unlike many generic field service platforms, Collabaro is industry-specific and we get hands-on involved in every pilot. Because of this, there is a cost associated with the pilot programme. However, we usually deduct all or part of the pilot cost if the client adopts the software, depending on the scope of the requirement.

Yes. You can use the REST API to pull out any set of data for use in your own BI reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Most of our clients use the API for this purpose, giving them full flexibility to build custom dashboards and analytics on top of their operational data.
Yes. Inspection reports are generated automatically once a job is set to complete. All captured data, including checklist responses, photographs, and technician notes, is compiled into a professionally formatted, client-ready report without any manual assembly.
Reports can be downloaded or shared directly with your client.
